Cantharis flavilabris
I originally had my first record down as Cantharis nigra, but the absence of a red scutellum and the dark femoral bases clearly make it flavilabris not nigra. Duff says that pre-2015 literature used the name nigra for Cantharis flavilabris, so I suspect I was using an old reference.
This was found on a Hogweed flower.

My next one was on Ox-eye Daisy and identified with the help of Mark Gurney's guide to Soldier Beetles.
