Bordered Straw Heliothis peltigera

I don't tend to catch many migrant moths in my garden so it's not unusual for influxes of particular migrant species to completely pass me by. Even so, 2025 was a good year for Bordered Straw and I had high hopes I'd get one, which I eventually did.

The only one I'd seen prior to this was in the Pyrenees.
