Andrion regensteinense
Some references have this as Sitona regensteinense.
All of the following individuals were swept from the same patch of Broom. I've recorded them here on quite a few other occasions (and at another nearby location) but tend to identify them in the field.

I don't always find the basal declivity to the elytra easy to assess so I wondered firstly whether or not any of the Sitona were sufficiently similar to overlook and secondly which, if any, species of Sitona it would key to if I did misjudge the basal declivity. To answer the second question I tried keying this one as Sitona and ended up at Sitona striatellus. Unhelpfully perhaps, this species is also on Gorse and Broom, like Andrion regensteinense. However, whilst I'm yet to encounter striatellus, by all accounts they have much shorter, or at least less erect, elytral setae. Arguably Sitona hispidulus is closer, at least in that respect, but that has flatter eyes and more perfectly round scales on the elytra.
