This one was from before I became very interested in beetles and at the time I identified it as Phyllobius virideaeris. Judging from the number of photos I took of it upside down, I must have been aware that the underparts were relevant for the identification, but I suspect I was going on a description of differences that was not illustrated, and I had no previous experience to draw on. Reviewing the photos now, it is clear that the scales on the underparts are narrow linear so it cannot be virideaeris None of the photos show the side profile exactly so it's hard to assess the apical declivity but taking account of the angles I think this is ok for roboretanus.
