Waved Black Parascotia fuliginaria
This is an uncommon moth in Norfolk and I haven't yet found one here. I'm not sure if it's a lot commoner in Kent or not, but I caught two on one night. The second made a successful bid for freedom the very second I eyeballed it - I was very grateful that I'd already got the first one nailed otherwise I would have gone into full-on panic mode attempting to recapture it for a proper look! The species is considerably smaller than I had always imagined.
