Stenopsocus stigmaticus

Typical examples are easy to distinguish from Stenopsocus immaculatus and all other barkflies, but some individuals apparently lack the obvious dark vein bordering the rear of the pterostigma. These differ from immaculatus in having a broader pterostigma and no setae along vein Cu2. Based on my experience, this species is much less common than immaculatus.
